The Secret of the "Double Dave!"
We were delighted to build the "Double Dave" pedal for XTC's Dave Gregory, and thrilled to see him share the results in the video above. His is a custom build not available to the public, but we can reveal the secret of the tone: channel A of the Double Dave is our "Fat Bald Guy" house blend muff circuit, and channel B is our "Octave Up" pedal, both available separately through our pedal store!
The Circuits Behind the "That Pedal Show" Custom Builds
Longtime Stompworks customer David Dyte approached us with a proposal: Could we create custom pedals for the cast of "That Pedal Show"?
Hopefully, the results speak for themselves. Under the hood, the green drive is almost identical to our current "Green Thing" Screamer build, while the orange muff circuit is 100% identical to the "Pyramid Principle" Triangle Muff build. It was our pleasure to deliver these cool one-offs, and thankfully you can still add these tones to your own setup!
